Great Cycle this morning up to Amesbury route 45 the little hamlets along the road are the place to live if you really have money some great house names (The roundabout) (cabbage Cottage) (clock tower cottage) FAB. Stopped at a wonderful Bakery in Amesbury called Reeve Bakery wonderful cakes and coffee. In to Salisbury after lunch for a walkabout.
Just been across to The Circus Zyair this evening what fun.
Last day at Cheddar, a slight rain in the air so a walk up to Costa Coffee I have had 3 Coffee’s here and everyone tasted different so we will try a small independent tomorrow before we leave. One peculiar thing that happened at this campsite that we have never seen before in 11 years of travel was people that had arrived early by one hour not a good idea at this site. A car and caravan arrived followed by a small VW T5 size van that the warden sent away after he left he booked the car and caravan in???? and a few others that arrived before 1300 the van arrived back at 1315 poor chap if only he knew.!!!
A great Picture

Leaving day so a walk up into town had a lovely coffee at Cheddar Gorge coffee shop .
A good journey as far as the roundabout near Stonehenge then Boom wall to wall cars. Arrived at about 1330 then went into Salisbury for cake and coffee. Then back to do some washing. I wish the camping and Caravan club would wash the toilet block mops somewhere else other than in the site washing machine its filthy when they have finished. Asked wardens about bus times to Salisbury due to a slow and bad internet connection and he did not know???
This Campsite has the worst Internet in Europe someone should tell the Camping and Caravanning Club that FREE anything never works? Most people have 2 possibly 3 devices per caravan? Motorhome so on a site with 100 pitches 200 + will drag the Bps down to maybe 5Bps so no internet for anyone!!!!
Had a late evening walk up to The Sarum.
A proper Camping Car Below

Below is an Photo we took in Plymouth of what I thought was a pretty street but on looking at it closer I thought double yellow lines NO PARKING (WHAT!) How would you get a car down there. This is one of the silly things that people do ?
Good drive up via the M5 calling for some motorhome supplies in Charmouth. Booked in and went for a walk down to West Bay WOW there is some MEGA coastal erosion prevention work going on.
Run this morning up one side of the river Plym and back down the other side. Lunch at Costa coffee then into Plymouth for a walkabout.

Next day cycle to Plymouth via Saltram House grounds and the South west coastal path Coffee at the Barbican then cycle back. After lunch bus into Plymouth for a walkabout then in the evening a walk alongside the river Plym for 40 mins.
Had a cycle this morning up to Wadebridge early to avoid the Bank Holiday crowds. Last time we cycled we passed 104 cyclists from Bodmin to Padstow this time we passed 100 just from Wadebridge to Padstow WOW. Had a look around a FAB antique center some great items then back for a coffee in The Old Custom House then back to the site.
We then caught a bus into Padstow (lazy us) Had yet another coffee same place then walked back. We have now just finished washing clothes this is the only site in 11 years where we have had to use two machines because they are so small £10.00 ?
Enjoying our stay here in Padstow. First day we walked into town for a look around. Lovely small typical Cornish town. Found a lovely place for coffee and cake. Just missed The Obby Oss festival by one day.
Second day we cycled the Camel Trail from Padstow, through Wadebridge onto Bodmin. Good route as no hills.
Saturday walked into town again and onto the headland. Had a look around the shops again. Still looking for Deal Cargo Shorts. No luck so far. Had another great coffee in the Old Custom House (well done to the Barista) then back to site.
