This morning went for a walk to Dunnottar Castle along the cliffs a 5 mile return walk. Lovely history to the castle. In the afternoon our usual exploring walk and coffee and carrot cake in Cool Gaurmet coffee shop…too many dogs in here for us we were the only people in the place without a dog. Won’t be back here again.
Cycle into St Andrews this morning to kill a bit of time before our move up to Forfar. Visited the Castle (click image for BIG) then coffee in Taste coffee tea room very good busy with students coming and going.
Drove up to Forfar a good journey walked into town for a walkabout and afternoon coffee and cake in Tiffen a lovely cafe that has recovered well from being flooded 5 days ago. Had a look at the loch to see if it would make a good run. (Click image for BIG)
Below is the second part of a picture we took in Chippenham the missing body parts of the police man in the bike basket. He must be a bit like William Wallace bits scattered.
Arrived at St Andres Holiday Park and immediately we both got a message from the gods saying don’t stay here. So we immediately bought some Internet at £6.00 per day! And changed some bookings so that we can leave in the morning. We were supposed to be here 5 nights. Got the bikes out for a cycle about the town a lovely little town.
May cycle again in the morning before we leave (if we are still alive). The shower block is the worst ever and we have been in one that you could not use the facilities at all. (Camping International de Fez). We hope it don’t rain see the reviews. We don’t know how we missed not looking we always do? Check BELOW
Into town again for a walkabout great to see some more acts the picture below was a favourite . It was very very busy today. While here we have seen some extraordinary things like:
A women tarting herself up on the bus ( and she needed it), a women curling her eye lashes in costa coffee, a women letting her child play on the bus steps while in motion ( he fell down them) ? And lots and lots of silly things ? maybe they were all part of the Fringe! The top ten Fringe jokes have left me a bit lost for words!!!!!!
Had a good walkabout today NO RAIN (Shhhh!) Lots of acts on so two laps of the main area then coffee and Lunch. Have to keep washing the van here as its dirty rain. This is a great place to do 3000 steps a day one set we went up their was 129 WOW.
Lovely blue sky today the secret is to take an umbrella with you and it don’t rain. Lots of new acts for us to see today. The picture below shows where not to put your marketing material?
One or two things make you think ??? see picture
