28 December 2019  Salisbury

Good drive down again staying off the motorway and dry roads a first for a while. Site not to busy a rally due in tomorrow. Had a wander into town a cold day so coffee and back for tea.

25 -27 November 2019 Cheltenham

Wet drive down but stuck to minor roads avoiding M6 interesting route.

Did our usual walkabout in Cheltenham and Gloucester and found some new and interesting streets found where Dick Whittington lived a lovely house.

Weather been a bit mixed but we enjoyed the Costa Coffee in Next Maureen having Cheese Cake with berries “Twice”

24 November 2019 Shrewsbury

Sunday no buses here so we got the bikes out and explored Route 81 we would not be able to cycle this route alongside the river 2 days ago as it would have been under water, the bikes got very muddy and we only managed 2 hours. It was very cold out.

23 November 2019 Shrewsbury

Woke to Rain but not bad enough to stop us going for a short run. In to Shrewsbury via Park and ride from the campsite.

A really good walkabout almost every street. Coffee then back to the site stopped raining so washed the van it was so dirty after our 5 Hour drive down yesterday.

The Christmas lights on the site get better ever year.

20 November 2019 Keswick

Spent a short time in the Lake District and surrounding area visiting lots of places Ambleside, Windermere, Ullswater, Penrith, Cockermouth and so many more places been very busy had the van safty test done while in the Lakes as it was convenient. Now getting itchy feet and will move in the next few days on our 12th year of travelling, keep watching fans.

5 – 6 October 2019 Hawes

Back at Haws again before we head for the Lake District. Called a t the creamery for some shopping. On the Sunday had a run first thing  (our first for a while) before some more shopping and coffee.

4 October 2019 York

Friends called into York so we had coffee then wandered about for a while then stopped for Lunch at Wheldrake a small coffee shop with a 5 star Tripadvisor rating. A good Day out.

3 October 2019 York

Into York this morning only a 10 mins. walk. Had a Starbucks coffee then a look round the shops. Lunch in costa. I think i am drinking to much coffee see picture below.

Washed the van this afternoon then walked back into town saw this tour and wondered ????

2 October 2019 York

Good drive down on arrival to  campsite road glad we had to turn right not left it was a bit wet. Hooked up and walked into town for a walkabout then later in the evening walked into town again.

1 October  2019 Whitley Bay

Bad weather overnight and first thing in the morning but we got the bikes out after lunch got well wrapped up and cycled with friends down to Blyth harbour stopping on the way back for our usual daily intake off cake and coffee.
