Hi Folks still trying to keep fit (last month) we have done 200 miles of cycling 80 miles of walking and a few miles running, but only 70 miles driving. Had hundreds of coffee, lots of tea and a mega amount of cakes but still nice n slime. We developed a fault on the air bag and milometer on the motorhome so took a drive down the road. We managed to repair it by cleaning the contacts on the seatbelt switch plug under the seat. These vehicles really need to be used standing does them no good so hopefully things will get better and safe for us all.
Still playing around with bits that are lying around the house, we found some old spacers from canvases that i bought this one is called Troy a wooden horse.
Had a walk about this afternoon looking for fish in the beck and a stoat carrying a baby water vole ran past just 6 feet away from us what a lovely sight. (for us !)

Since our last post we have settled into been in a house for the first time for 12 years and are once again learning how to climb stairs to go to a bed. We are enjoying watching spring the new calf’s lambs and the rapid changing of flora and fauna . We are concentrating on more cycling than running making the most of quite roads and using the cycling as a means of more exercise we did spot an ordnance survey marking on a farm gate post on checking it was used pre GPS to state the sea level at this point about 27 meters.
On the art side of things I have built a large Pinocchio made from a cereal box.
I am still drawing and have created a super picture on The Peoples Parliament.
I have also created a time machine to transport everyone to a better time. XX
We have had some windy days just lately and have had to resort to The barn coffee shop to maintain social distancing.
Noticed this wadding in a property development and had to look twice as it looked like a cow looking out of the window?

Still having a good time although missing our travels. Good cycling over the last 2 days as the wind has dropped a bit. Had a great run this morning down one of the farm lonnins. We took a photo of the drive that we have started cleaning last night, we have a full time job here and its a great challenge as the tractors are always collecting cow muck.. this should ease up soon as the cows are now out in the fields.
The motorhome challenge from a cereal box is nearly finished watch this space.
Below is a picture before and after click image for a BIG picture.

The Browns and The golden Handshake.
We arrived at the campsite and we were just about settled when our neighbor also British walked round and introduced himself extending his hand he said “Hi I’m Alan, Alan Brown” He had a grip of steel as he shook my hand and my arm virtually fell out of its socket. “We have coffee on the boil and expect you round in 10 Ok” I explained this to M who was delighted to have friendly neighbours. We walked round and were given a seat each by Alan as Agnes was just whizzing past us chasing a small Chihuahua towards our pitch shouting “Spartacus come here” Spartacus was having hearing problems as he was squat attempting to have a poo. Agnes returned to her caravan for a plastic bag and a wet wipe. We watched in horror as Agnes who was apologising and picking up the mess and wiping little Spartacus’s bum with the wet wipe.
Returning to the pitch she extended her hand to me and held it for a long period while kissing both cheeks and saying how lovely it was to have nice neighbours she then headed for M I could see the look in her eyes as she thought of (the kiss, the dog, the wipes and the handshake!). “Toilet” M exclaimed excusing herself “. Excuse me emergency” she added, wow she thought, ugh nearly got the golden handshake. “something she’s eaten been like it since yesterday” I said.
“Spartacus what a big name for a small dog” i said to Agnes passing the time of day until M returned. “yes he is a very strong brave dear for such a small dog not scared of anything the only problem is his tongue muscles are damaged and every bark is followed by a yelp as he bites his tongue that’s we call the little love Spartacus” M returned and sat quickly down to avoid any affection from Agnes.
On M’s return Agnes chirped up “Carrot cake anyone” M’s face again showed visible horror as she said it’s only an hour since our breakfast we’re Ok I think. “We must be off we are catching the train into Barcelona and need to change” Agnes replied “So are we see you soon just got to put Spartacus in his sick bag for travel we call it that because the little dear doesn’t travel well”
Well we are at the station and the Browns are approaching and there is a family next to us with 2 young children eating ice creams, no sorry melting ice creams all over themselves clothes and hands. The train is here and so are the Browns with little Spartacus in his “Sick Bag” The two young children are on the train first covering any object they touch or pass with ice cream, how lovely. We board and the Browns sit opposite us and proceed to chatter. Agnes pauses briefly and has a sneeze that nearly blows all the seats out of the carriage and fills the air with a moderate rainstorm; I managed to duck, but M is not as fast as me. “Sorry” Agnes says “Hay fever it’s horrible and I never seem to catch it”. Alan sat picking his nose on the sly while looking out of the window and ignores Agnes but I’m watching him he proceeds to wipe his finger on his trousers and on doing so realises that he has left his fly zip down and manage to pull it up while still enjoying the view. I then using my eyes only try to draw Agnes’s attention to the corner of the bag carrying Spartacus as a fluid seems to be dripping out slowly she catches on and grabbing a wet whip to place on the corner as she tilts the bag back the opposite way stopping the leak at that point but transferring the leek to the other side where it continues but onto Alan’s trousers now. They both then manage to stem the flow and help poor Spartacus from drowning.
On arrival at Barcelona station we leave the train making sure we touched nothing. The Browns extending their hands wished us a good time in the city and to avoid this M stated that the traffic lights had just changed and made off rapidly with me in tow waving a fond goodbye and shouting bye.
Ahh! The Browns and The Golden Handshake

It is a while since we have done the blog as we have been busy adjusting to been confined in a house, the first time in 12 years. Maureen has been learning to use a vacuum cleaner again. We are experiencing lots of free time but are walking cycling and running within the government guidelines.
We have decided that now the muck spreading has finished for the moment that the driveway needs a good clean up and have started the task it will probably take us about a month. See below.
