Cycle again this morning up to Ripley Castle with friends for a coffee.
After lunch a cycle up into Harrogate again
Some shopping then a coffee with friends in the afternoon at Fodders (not a good experience)
Vans waiting to book in at campsite. Some more shopping this evening getting ready to move again.
Rain started at 0400 and then all morning with hail, thunder and lightening so nothing happening until 1230 when I met a friend and we cycled to Wetherby from The showground Harrogate a lovely cycle rout after Spofforth saw a funny looking gargoyle looks like it was holding its bum up for the water to come out.
Coffee in Wetherby a lovely 2hour cycle. This seat is a monument to a guy with cancer who cycled Lands end to John O’ groats. hence the England bits each side
The cycle way and the old railway station at the end now a car park.

Before leaving York noticed a campervan breaking the rules of parking on pitches some people get away with it, also vans arriving at 1240 not turned away as at other sites.
A good drive down to Harrogate getting shopping at Monk’scross on the way. Catchup with friends at Fodders then an evening cycle into town.

Coffee with friends the a cycle to Knaresborough to look at the market and a cycle around its the sort of place you must look up if you want to see the unusual and lots of fun going on by the river.

Had a cycle last night to cool down spotted a couple of Boaterhomes. And how unusual a shopping trolly.
Walk into town for coffee and shopping then had a cycle to cool down again an interesting fact due to all the odd things that are happening and silly things I thought I was on a different planet then how scary on my cycle I saw a sign telling me how far away earth is.
must of took a wrong turning when cycling to the moon and back in Tynemouth. If any one knows how to get back to earth let me know.
Another cycle out to Acomb and The Railway museum.
Another cycle this evening. Managed to find some new streets.

Up nice and early on another lovely day for a walk into York so I could get a coffee without having to wait 10 mins or so.
I have been on this site lots of times but never noticed the brown hedges before.
Back into town for another walkabout was going to buy some shopping in M&S but the que for payment reached all the way to Bridlington HaHa?
Great to see this fly over the site.
Was looking at the fair ground WOW look at the size now of the winning prizes.
Yesterday I did a check on availability on this site on the 25th gosh single person site full two persons availability.

Bank Holiday so lots of bother on sites wardens trying to stop odd things happening “BUT” didn’t managed to stop an outside birthday party with lots of noise they stopped when the church clock struck midnight UGH? (Wish it would start raining for 3 days)
Into Thirsk for coffee Greggs BIG que due to one machine out of order 10 mins later got to front regular latte please SORRY ONLY DECAFE ### so along to Tesco for some shopping had a coffee in store not bad x
1Hr drive racing on in York so one of the roads closed for roadworks (typical) Walk into York for a look around very very busy but lots going on a magic couple of days thought about making a magic wand and making everyone disapear.
In the evening a walk round to the Rowntree Park love the flowers here

A moaning day today must be due to the hot weather I am having 29 Degrees in the van.
Picture below from Whitby site rained the day after they cut the grass so every time I returned to the van had a new lawn
Hawes campsite not many none awning pitches blue and most under the trees on uneven ground.
The shower I cleaned 30 mins after cleaning Ugh!
If Thirsk was not such a lovely place nobody would come here.
Coffee in town this morning and a walkabout then a cycle in the afternoon and a bit of sunbathing a lot of red people about on the site.
