This is new since last year.
Had a cycle into town this morning and had a look around the back streets !!! Another cycle in the afternoon. Tried to get another coffee in the afternoon at Marton Farm Shop but stopped serving 1430 Boo Hoo ?
15 April 2026 Bridlington
Bridlington has not entered its tourist season yet this was on my cycle in this morning at 1000 and the coffee shop I use was closing at 1430 yesterday.
These two dudes are still outside Bridlington Spa.

Drive up to Bridlington today on arrival a cycle into town for a look see if any changes it was lovely to see the tide in.
On the cycle in is a motorhome stopover pub just as i get on the seafront.
this looks good shame not back here until the end of May.

Walk into town first thing for some shopping before it gets busy.
Then back to the site for the bike and a cycle along the Solar green way to Naburn Lock passing Rowntree’s now Terry’s
The sculpture on this bridge is FAB its a fisherman that has caught a train and his dog has it’s back leg up having a pee on his bike. Looks like the trend is passing on to humans in York.

50 years ago I did a survey under water on the weir as part of flood defence work very dangerous dive had a few problems !
In the afternoon another walkabout in town.
Can you imagine looking in your rear view mirror and seeing this behind ARGH!

Out early for a walkabout before the tourists descend. Costa Ugh! Starbucks Ugh! So coffee in Pret a Manger OK
Love these sculptures.
In can be dangerous in town be careful.
Where the boat parking is in York.
Ever where you travel water fountains they must have been very important in the early days.
Some fabulous statues if you look up.
Decided to do some washing as its raining at lunchtime thought I would give u an look in to life on campshits.

10/11 April 2026 Harrogate/York
Still chatting and catching up with friends moved today to York stopped at GO OUTDOORS for some toilet blue don’t do the 2 liters any more so had to get 1.3 litre bottles same price £14 ouch. Must have been a flood lately lots of crocs about.
What a lovely tree.
Noticed I had a headlight bulb out so replaced dinner then a walkabout in town between showers. VERY busy.
Stopped to see if any of my witch friends in town.

A cycle this morning for coffee at Ripley Castle. A lovely day and lovely weather.
A lovely route on The Greenway cycle path some times called the Brownway due to the amount of horse and dog poo!
I passed through Starbeck on both my cycles today and love the decorations for Easter on the cross.
The afternoon cycle was to Knaresborough market day.
Below the oldest in Britain ?
Coffee this afternoon at Fodders they left it on the counter while chatting so it arrived cold….complained they changed it and gave it to me for free.

Another lovely day catching up with friends then a cycle into town. Easter decorations on the shop window below.
This large motorhome arrived on site.
What’s on at the Harrogate Showground.
When cycling into town I spotted this outside the front of Pavillions.
I was also amazed at what I spotted at the back of Pavillions and also further down the road at the campsite.
