A good walk about Maureen found some money wow.

A good day out in the city bus no 14 up to Arthur’s Seat and walked up back via the cliffs, Holyrood house and onto Princess street for lunch.
4th October 2016 Edinbvrgh
Run this morning to Cramond Island interesting to see the submarine defense system. Can only be visited 2 hrs each side of low water.
Cycle this afternoon to Queensferry and on to the Forth road Bridge, cycled out via route 76 through Dalmeny estate back cycle route 1 A90.

A good day visited the Royal Yacht Britania then up to Princess Street and the old town and Royal Mile.

Travel up this morning from Berwick arrived 1200 got the bikes out cycled to Leith to see where the royal yacht is then on up to Princess street a good 2 hour cycle. Will bus down to the Ocean centre later.
20th – 26th September 2016 Bamburgh
Arrived at Bamburgh after dropping the car of and travelling across the A69. Campsite got busier as the weekend approached quietened off just before leaving.
Managed to run together to the beach at Bamburgh then same day took the cycle route 1 to Seahouses back along the seafront. Next day cycle route 1 to Holy island a great day out 4 ½ hours cycling with a lovely bacon buttie and coffee on the island.
A day off exercise with a 1 ½ hr. walk to Bamburgh beach and a short evening walk to Budle bay. Next day run to beach again and a cycle along the coast road to Seahouses for a coffee. Visited the Grace Darling museum and here grave in the church yard opposite.
26th – 2nd October 2016
Arrived Berwick booked in to Seaview site, walked into town. Next day run along the seafront at Spittle then walked to the harbour lighthouse and a Costa in Berwick.
A very different and interesting cycle down to Holy Island from Berwick compared to from Bamburgh, coastline footpaths complete with cow plats and the ex owners of them in fields but a good cycle with a couple of rain showers.
5 August Keswick
Back at what we call home Keswick after a truly wonderful trip into Northern Europe we have enjoyed stunning scenery wonderful campsites lovely people great weather a totally enjoyable trip north for a change. We failed to reach our objective Russia only due to the fact we did not plan the trip as we don’t often know where we are going and when we are getting there and lack of knowledge of “things” we are now equipped to make the trip again via Germany, Poland and up to Estonia at a later time. We also enjoyed chatting to locals in non tourist areas and have learnt so much about the countries a fab 8 weeks we thoroughly recommend trying it.
4 August Harrogate show ground
Another super day a walk to Knaresbrough and back with Maureen’s friend Olive for lunch n chat great. WOW has our trip taken us to the worlds end.

Arrived Harrogate to catch up with Friends before moving back up to The Lake District a lovely lunch and afternoon with Linda and Ray (thank you) today Maureen’s friend Olive.
Last 2 days of our Scandinavian trip back from checking out ready for a bigger trip, a wonderful trip not what we planned but fab anyway we now know how to overcome a few obstacles that appeared due to lack of knowledge. The campsites people and travel through Denmark Norway and Sweden was great.

30 July 2016 Riverside Stratford on Avon
Left Poole heading for Oxford unfortunately on arrival booking in and hooking up we found a small problem, the bus service into Oxford had changed and it appeared to my tired mind a huge problem with timings and bus routes so I asked the lovely Maureen if we could leave. Arrived Riverside Stratford on Avon for 4 nights our third visit this year, it seems to be well placed in England to reduce our travelling times when leaving or entering England from home. Caught up with all our laundry and been into town for a walkabout in the market.

Into Stratford to have a look round the retail park a spot of lunch then back to the site move in the morning to Harrogate.
