A drive down to Altea again this morning for coffee after a short walk on the sea front in Calpe.

Early start today up to Denia to see if we can find a large pitch on a campsite for friends and booked for 2026 all done GOODY XX.
Coffee in Denia then back for an easy afternoon with a walk into Calpe late afternoon.

Had a drive out 51/2 hours to Elche, Santa Pola and Alicanti area stopping at La Marina (San Fransisco) For lunch 3 x Chicken and salad toasted sandwich and 6 coffee’s 30 Euros (not bad eh)?
Had a realy good drive about with the lead driver from GET YOU LOST TOURES DARIAN he get you places where nobody goes!

Up early for a walk along the beach before calling in for my friend to go for a walk about in Calpe for a couple of hours.
My campsite disappearing amongst the high rise.
Passed this awfully rude cacti!
On arrival at my friends campsite the night warden was still outside.
After lunch had a drive down to Benidorm to do The Bali Hotel experience again 43 floor ,glass lift 6 euros each including a coffee and fab views over Beni.

Javia seafront
In the morning had a drive up to Javia to look for Montgo Art but missed it not used to the sat nav on the car yet. Javia seafront looking up at the next picture

So had another drive up to Denia to show my friends a different area.
In the afternoon a drive to Benissa for a coffee and walkabout. Noticed this giant hat on the way back, then some shopping while we have the car.

Below they are getting ready for Valentines day.
A drive up to Callosa this morning lovely curvy roads visited the micro museum intereasting.
You have to look through magnifiers to see the man made objects.
The mirrors on the floor are so you can see the underside ummm?

3 February 2025 Calpe
Had a walk into Calpe town for a bit of exercise noticed the beach had been combed.
Picked the car up today for 2 weeks so had a ride up to Denia for a walk about and coffee. Great statues here although the guy on the bike looks very smug.
Lovely sunbathing balcony on top of this building.
Called in for another coffee in Moraira then back to the site I had another 1hr walkabout looking at clothes shops for a new jacket no luck yet.

Had a walk along the sea front then called in to have a walk about in town for 2 hours we saw some lovely sights and I took 35 pictures for you all. The image below is hand knitted great.
This lovely graffiti is new and is stunning one of the best and the explanation is FAB.
Love these energy saving devices below. Had a cycle with friend for an hour looking around wow another good day in my life (thanks for the cake friends) yummy.
Had another walk this evening watching the sun go down very busy on the sea front.

Sunset in Santa Pola
Moving day so before I left had to take a picture of a mountain that we have been up at Callosa WOW more of a climb than a walk even has a refuge on the top.
Had a coffee before leaving and a walk through the market to see the prices of oranges for a friend back in the UK.
Spotted this unusual rubbish truck (I like it) good idea drives in on market day with a driver who stays with it.
Good drive up to Calpe got a good pitch walk into town for a coffee with friends its good to back in Calpe.
31 January 2025 Santa Pola
A cold start so a bit of shopping then a cycle a long the seafront visited the last area that I have never been in it looks a bit like the seafront in the 60’s before all the new ones were build in front.
Back at the campsite silly day the biggest camping car ever a “Jack Out” trying to navigate on site everyone out watching the stupidity the campsite staff had to cut some branches of a tree.
Next I get an email from friends saying a women on their site was washing breakfast bowels with the hose on the chemical disposal area.
You do get some lovely sunsets in Santa Pola.
