Moving day walk about before leaving. Decided that due to 2 washing machines and one drier that may create problems if someone left their clothes in the machine I would do it at the next site as there are 2 of each. Guess what one of the driers is out of order.
Added plenty of time to allow for roadworks and shopping NO PROBLEMS today so got there early. ####
Walk into Cirencester after lunch site busy the warden told me 70 booked in today?

Bus into town for coffee and walk about before leaving for Tewksbury.
Drive down terrible as usual driving on the M52 is live driving a vehicle without tyres on. And after 10 years of building smart motorways it is now taking 10 years to put in safe stopping areas!
Lovely flowers on site well kept. Late arriving so missed dinner break so coffee and afternoon Tiffin.

Coffee in Chirk before leaving the walk to the coffee shop and back 1 hr. Lovely coffee and cake i have now been in every coffee shop in town.
Good drive down booked in then a bus into Shrewsbury for a look.

Got the bike out but it started to rain before I left the site so caught the bus into town twice today.

Bus into town then a cycle into town lunch then cycle into town. I am finding it very difficult to find new roads to go down but did manage to get 2 pictures. The Lion on the Lion Pub.

Coffee in Southport before leaving a good drive down over the toll at Liverpool.
On arriving a short walk a leg stretcher. The picture above is not the walk its on the toilet block wall taps bottom right corner.

Good drive over stopping for a coffee at services at Blackburn. Que to get in took nearly as long as the drive (not a very good site this).
Walk into town for a look around.

Sad events here.
Had a walk into town then an hour cycle going places I have not been before. In the afternoon had another cycle the houses here in Southport are so big it must have been an important place 100 years ago?
The Circus Zyair is here in Southport we went to see this circus in Salisbury 2019 it was good.
26 – 28 August 2024 Harrogate
Meeting up with friends again for coffee and also another lovely surprise some more friends called in to see me on their way home from a trip down south and luckily bumped into me at a bus stop BIG WOW and thank you. Plenty of coffee and cake 2 cycles about doing the go down a new road that I haven’t been down before. A lovely Lego trail on in town.
Been doing some more bookings and paper work how tiring Ugh! Lots of movement on the road as all the equipment arriving for the motorhome – holiday home show.

Into Thirsk first thing for coffee before leaving for Harrogate it was lovely to see some more new knitting in the market place lovely see below.
A good drive over for a change and met friends for coffee.

Bad journey over should have been 1Hr 50mins. It took 3 Hours. Penrith again (bonkers) and A66 problems. Arrived booked in lunch then a walk into town. (click image for BIG)

Decided to have a look at the World Championship Axe throwing in the afternoon. Different but worth looking at if you have a spare £10.

Weather a bit damp so catching the bus into Keswick and still meeting friends for coffee. Had a walk down to the lake its starting to fill up.
The pub below should be called the Boot and shoe.
The wind on the last night here was WOW factor 100 rock n roll man. Flood warnings out for Keswick campsite.
