Cycle again into North Berwick for coffee before leaving for Edinburgh good drive up just managed to get passed a truck crash ran into the back of a van Ouch! Did some shopping arriving about 1330.

One toilet block closed #### 145 pitches on site approx. 300 people sharing 4 showers and 4 toilets. The short cut to the bus stop to town is closed # (stop swearing you).

Arrived outside the toilets this morning and someone with Diarrhoea had had a poo just outside the door what a stink (not going to swear).

Caught the bus into town this morning took a while due to roadworks ! Had a wander about on Princess Street then a coffee. Back to the site for lunch and in the afternoon a cycle towards Leith. Site still very busy as usual.

Short drive up to North Berwick lovely day. Arrived 1315 still a queue Strange here a caravan on one side 2 Male and a motorhome arrived at 2000 with 4 Males who on hooking up started to play a golf game on the grass next to me with table tennis balls ####. Complained and asked if I could move pitches and the warden initially said no #### No internet to pitches and no phone signal so a definite never again. #### Sorry about all the swearing. Did some washing.

16 July North Berwick.

Woke at 0530 by a combined harvester bringing in the crop until 0830 #### opps still swearing. Cycle into North Berwick one and a half hour trip had a good look about and Costa coffee not busy. Walked down to the beach and saw a lovely tree and a new children’s play area. An afternoon cycle up to Dirleton then to the Archerfield farm shop.

17 July North Berwick.

Cycle again into North Berwick had a walkabout coffee then in the afternoon another cycle to Derleton and had a look at the church then up to the walled garden at Archerfield a lovely sunny day so some rest in the sun and a bit of drawing.

Walk into town for a coffee then a cycle  round town lunch then another cycle then another cycle for some shopping.

Woken up at 2300 by a motorhome arriving on late night arrivals and dropping wheel ramps on the floor.

Walk into town spotted a street sign that rang a bell in my memory meaning some thing special MMMMMMM Ah I know its where I buy cake for after dinner!

The main street here (Marygate has 14 closed shops-empty.)

Bus into Whitley Bay for coffee then some shopping, busy drive up car on fire on the A1 at Morpeth. Arrived at about 1330 got a good pitch. A wet afternoon so not a lot happening.

Walk into Berwick the old bridge is closed again I think at 400 years old its a bit tired although the swans love it. XX

Still lots of shops closed called in to have some more pictures printed. In the afternoon a cycle up to GO-Outdoors for some supplies then a cycle along the Spittel promenade. It looks like they have nearly finished these lovely houses PRICED at £1.000.000 one million each WOW nice.

In the evening a walk onto the beach took a while to get there due to the speed limit.

Afternoon cycle down to Blyth docks wow there is some massive building work going on down here.

The graffiti is still looking well.

This is a very small post office but if you look close enough it is closed like most of them.

Lovely sunny morning so an early cycle this morning must be getting a bit fitter as I decided to cycle to THE MOON AND BACK yes really if you don’t believe me have a look at the picture below.

And I made it back before lunch.

On the way back a small festival on in Whitley Bay and spotted this whale made from carboard.

Lunch then had a cycle down towards Blyth after all these years on the cycle way I just noticed the people with kids, dogs and earless old people don’t use the footpath so cycled along the foot path and did not meet anyone cool eh!

Came across a classic car meet so had a look round.

Left the site early for some shopping then a short drive up to Whitley Bay (Old Hartley) opening today after a long refit and allowing people to arrive after 1030 due to no one on site. WOW a first.

Work is still going on and I could not find the washing up! it is now in with the laundry room that will help with the clothes washing sink ? still awaiting signage.

Had a walk down to Seaton Sluice in the afternoon to see if the mermaid is still there.

Had an early morning cycle up to Tynemouth coffee (not costa) then into Whitley Bay one youth on the floor been held by a security guy. Every time I come here I see this.

Park run on the seafront and a new cycle way up at Tynemouth.

Into Durham this morning by bus for coffee and a walkabout not much changed since last year still vibrant not many closed shops.

Graduation day at the University so Cathedral closed.

In the afternoon had a cycle about exploring.

Cycle into Stockton again this morning down a few more streets. Spoke to a couple about the picture below they where married there 52 years ago and now in ruins due to some druggies setting it on fire.
