11- 12 May 2024 Moreton in Marsh

Coffee before leaving then a short drive to Moreton in Marsh.

Next morning a cycle up to Batsford Arboretum and Garden Centre did not stop for a coffee as not bike friendly but if you read the reviews on the coffee shop doggie heaven. Walk about in town then a cycle up to the old airfield the base of 21 OTU (Operational Training Unit) RAF, flying mainly Vickers Wellington bombers during the war.

Stopped and had a chat with the museum outside the campsite.

At the entrance to the site is a wonderful sign made from plastic bottle tops.

Short drive again all booked in then a walk into Broadway on a lovely sunny afternoon. Called in to the station as usual to watch the steam train.

When in Broadway I thought I would have a Magnum so called into the CO-OP but they had none BUT i did notice the cost of food Kellogg’s corn Flakes normal price £1.25 here £3.20 but if you have the app £1.50….. Ouch!
