In to Alicanti again today for a walk about and another lovely Starbucks coffee.

Out for a cycle this morning and a look around in town the church we wanted to visit was closed so coffee time.

In the afternoon graffiti time again and artwork. The below picture of Maureen with the flamingos was only part of the picture.

Bus this morning to Alicante a good walk about in town and on the seafront.

Had an amazing coffee in Starbucks WOW WOW WOW.

In the afternoon mad hot so a bit of sun.

Bus to Elche a lovely little town known for its palm trees had a good walkabout then back to the site (mad hot today) so an afternoon sun bathing.

Despite a water shortage all the fountain’s, promenades get plenty of water. The below picture says no drinking or swimming in the water feature?

Cycle this morning up through the salt pans interesting then along the sea front.

In the afternoon met up with family for a couple of hours they look good.

Some shopping and coffee before leaving Denia. Good drive down although busy round Alicanti.

On arrival a good chat with the owner as we have been here a few times then a walk into town for another coffee. The below coffee is Muy Caliente (Very Hot) the thing is we didnot know it was coming in a glass (a first) so when we got it we could not pick it up Mmmmm.

Decided to get the bus to Elche but it was to busy so gave it a miss and had a cycle along the seafront in the morning then a walk into town in the afternoon.

Cycle into town again today no coffee and cake today it’s very difficult to find on a Sunday so we have to make do with tostada with tomate or Pancake with Nutella Strawberry’s with ice cteam (how sad) with a large café con leche.

The carpark by the harbour is full of motorhomes.

On our look around we found something that we have missed previously a tunnel all the way under the castle.

Last night was a first two drunks a man and a women so trashed they could not walk and crawled along the floor back to their van despite two offers of help unbelievable.

Wow a wet day but at least not as bad as promised did manage two short walks on the seafront without getting wet hope its better tomorrow.

Managed to find something on site to photograph.
