4 September 2022 Fort William (60 Campsites 133 Cycles)

Lots of rain overnight and this morning so did our washing. A lovely warm afternoon with lots of sunshine so a cycle across to Corpach to the locks then back into Fort William. Maureen doing the Tour of Britian with her Rubbee X I think don’t seem to see much of her while cycling?

3 September 2022 Fort William

Cycle into town this morning for a walkabout back to the site then a cycle down to the Nevis Inn to watch the runners come passed on The Ben Nevis Race. Good to some friends and familiar faces. A bad weather day for the race showers and high winds especially near the gully.

31 August – 2 September 2022 Sterling (Witches Craig) (59 Campsites 131 Cycles)

A lovely Drive through to Sterling stopped off for a Starbucks coffee near Edinburgh. Shower then down to the Coffee Bothey for Coffee and Cake and some meals we do love farm shops. A walk in the evening to Logie church and had a walkabout in the graveyard.

1 September 20022 Fort William Glen Nevis (60 Campsites 131 Cycles)

Drove up to Fort William another really good drive. Stopped off to see some friends who own The By The Way Campsite for half an hour really good to see them all looking so well. Shower, lunch and a couple of walkabouts to finish the day had a chat with some friends that work here and some of the fell runners here for the Ben Nevis race on Saturday.

2 September 2022 Fort William Glen Nevis (60 Campsites 132Cycles)

Lovely day so a cycle this morning up to Anoch Mor Gondolas then back into Fort William for a walk down the main street. Called into a bike shop looking for a spare tyre ready for when Maureen’s wears out due to the Rubbee. Rubbee set on Cruise due to all the hills Maureen said it was FAB we used half the battery charge in 3 hours (not bad)
