Early walk into town watched the start of The Buxton Half Marathon had a coffee and watched the winner come in. Back to the site for lunch then washed the van.

27 May 2022 Sandringham

Cycle into Kings Lynn this morning for a coffee 16 miles round trip then in the afternoon a rest. Saw a lovely bus which was made of bricks.

28 May 2022 Buxton

A long drive this morning with road works, coffee stop 4 hours up to Buxton a lovely drive on Fab roads we enjoyed it. In the afternoon a walk down into Buxton 40 mins each way.

We came across a charity event FAB Dinosaurs and were animated. Coffee then back to the site. In the evening a walk up to Solomons Temple.

26 May 2022 Sandringham

Cycle this morning round the outer edge of Sandringham Estate and on to Dersingham. In the afternoon tour of Sandringham House and Gardens.

Then our usual after tea walk in the woods watching dear.

25 May 2022 Sandringham

Moving day today only 1 hour drive so we cycled into town this morning for some coffee and a bit of shopping. It appears that we may have had an attempt at fuel theft on site last night as my petrol cap door was open this morning? Good drive up with a stop for shopping and fuel.

Walk up to the visitor centre for yet another coffee then booked our selves a visit to Sandringham House and gardens for tomorrow. The owl below didn’t have this many feathers when we were last here in January.

24 May 2022 Norwich

Cycle into town exploring different places came back via the riverside path. In the afternoon had a cycle round Whitlingham Broad.

23 May 2022 Norwich

Cycle into town again this morning and took the river path right round the town, saw some lovely sights again and WOW so many churches.

Coffee back to site then in the afternoon back into town to get some pictures printed! bad move got soaking wet so we have done the laundry today.

21-May 2022 Norwich

Walked into town for a coffee before setting off for Norwich. Good journey up but no parking in Supermarket so arrived 10 mins early but OK with warden. A cycle after lunch to familiarise ourselves with the town. Had a look round the shops.

22-May 2022 Norwich

Cycle into town early a Sunday so very quite, had a look around the cathedral very nice it has the second highest spire in England next to Salisbury. In the afternoon cycled into town very busy football match on interesting to see opposition fans singing in a different bar across the river. An evening walk on site by the river.

20 May 2022 St Neots

Walk into town before the rain some more artwork a proper dragonfly and some lovely park benches, then some laundry, dinner and shower. Then a walk into town again and in the evening riverside to Reed Bridge for a walk.

A weather proof bike park haven’t seen one of these for a while.

18  May 2022 Stratford on Avon

Cycle into town for coffee twice and spent some time sat listening to The Shakespeare man by the Globe

19 May 2022 St Neots

Cycle into Stratford before setting off to St Neots. Motorway blocked off at one point on our journey by a car that had been on fire so a slight detour at Coventry.

Campsite OK lovely new block but a few mechanical issues. Walked into town 10 mins. by the river side.

In The evening had a walk down the river bank we saw a lovely BIG Blue Dragonfly but then we realised it was not so BIG when you see the size of the bridge

Weird eh!

Cycle into Oxford before leaving for Stratford on Avon, said goodbye to friends. Booked in 1200 then attempted to cycle into town but it started to rain halfway there so back to the site where it stopped.

This campsite has a lot of holiday homes (static caravans) and the area on the photo below was for motorhomes and caravans ! what a difference and what lovely colours ???

Cycle this morning on the Greenway to Marston and back into town for a walkabout and coffee. In the afternoon cycled back into town for some shopping.
