Cycle into Tiverton this morning to look at Tiverton Castle! Called in for some cake then up to The canal for a coffee at The Thatched Cottage T rooms, we just managed to beat a bus load of Tourists looking for a toilet before their boat trip on the horse barge. Afternoon walk down to another farm shop. In the evening we shall have another walk. We have enjoyed our stay on Minnows campsite small and Adult only.
Cycle to Tiverton and into the town. Tiverton has one of the few left horse drawn barges for tourists to ride on.
The town is nothing spectacular but it has a costa for coffee. We had a walkabout then back up to the canal. It has a lovely thatched tea room that we may visit while here.
There is also a cute tea room barge called The Ducks Ditty? Next to it is the smallest ferry I have ever seen.
Whilst cycling along the canal we noticed a large model of a Heron and a garden full of Gnomes.

Most of the street names are in Cornish but I spotted my first speed limit signs in Cornish. The image shows a British and a Cornish 20mph sign.

Strange site this it was bought last year by the motorhome club. The first thing we noticed the wardens dog walks around of lead?
The next is the toilet blocks all have individual shower toilet sinks 24 in total for the 169 pitches.
There is a kids playground, a football pitch coffee bar and shop. Also you can book pitches as the below sign shows.
