No frost so a cycle into town for a coffee and shopping and a walkabout. After lunch a walk round Nene Park.

Very frosty this morning so a walk in Nene park again then after lunch a cycle into town. Sir A. Gormley statue placed in a safe position to ovoid vandalism
Last walk for a coffee at Sandringham and give a chance for the frost to melt on the roads. After leaving Sandringham stopped up at the supermarket and then a good 1 hour journey to Peterborough. After lunch out with the bikes for a quick recce into town.

Weather didn’t look as cold as no frost so out with the bikes again to go and have a better look around the town. Visited the cathedral then back to the site for lunch then a walk around Nene Park with a wonderful carving and some beautiful bubbles.
A cold frosty morning today the toothpaste was a bit reluctant to leave the tube today? A walk as usual and coffee. After lunch out with the bikes again for a cycle to Castle Rising to look at the castle then up to Appleton water tower see link below if you want to stay.
A cold start so no cycle as planned even the campsite paths are slippy. So a walk again through the woods up to Sandringham visitor centre. After lunch had a walk through West Newton to Sandringham main entrance and right round the outer wall woods stopping for a coffee out for 3 hours with coffee stop.

Warmer today 3 degrees so out with the bikes for a cycle to Kings Lynn and coffee and some shopping. As usual a lovely knitting display on top of a letter box. These villages look like a lovely place to live.
A wet rainy day so a walk this morning through the woods uo to the information Centre and restaurant for a coffee and back about an 1 ½ walk n the rain and very interesting.
Managed another cycle into Colchester this morning an interesting small town loved the Town Hall Building. Booked in a had a walkabout on the trails around The Sandringham woods.
Colchester Country Park sounds good Butttttttt! What a tip this goes right to the top of our don’t ever come here again list. In fact we will be losing money AGAIN as we will leave in the morning and have added some days on to our next stop at Sandringham.
Managed a cycle into town and had a walkabout and coffee, the town itself looks interesting and if the weather is OK we will Cycle in tomorrow morning before we leave. Getting across the main road was so difficult we wondered if we would get back to the site before morning ####.
We came across a lovely water tower from the late 1800’s and on reading about it saw that the local vicar was opposed to its build because it would over shadow the rectory Ugh! Me before the town water supply?
A lovely sunny day but very very cold so on to the bikes again and a cycle up to Fordwich and back down to Canterbury. A walkabout and our usual coffee stop back to the site for lunch – shower. After lunch a walk into town 25 mins. One way. A good look round the streets.
We noticed that where we took the picture of the swans there was a ducking chair had anybody noticed it?
Lovely sunny day again so on the bikes for short cycle into town for coffee and check out a new route for tomorrow if the weather is good. Saw a wonderful sight 6 swans swimming against the current all in a line WOW.
Rain this afternoon tried a walk but too wet so a rest time.
