Looks good this morning so a cycle up to Bournemouth Pier and into town for a walkabout back along the seafront with some wind and rain so stopped in Poole for a sandwich and coffee. Out for 4 Hours a good day.

9 – 10 December 2021 Cheddar
Drive down weather not too bad roads still very busy. Arrived early afternoon hooked up then a walk up Cheddar Gorge.
One of the good things about being about in these tourist places in winter are you can have the place to yourselves except for the climbers cleaning up the cliffs and cutting trees down,
Had a second walk after lunch and managed to get our washing done and all the bad road dirt of the van lovely and clean a good day “AGAIN”
8 December 2021 Cheltenham
Good start to the day managed a cycle into Cheltenham not to busy and a good cycle way, walkabout had a look at the Christmas market and spent a while chatting to a Deliveroo cyclist while having our take away coffee. Lovely sunny afternoon so a walk to Asda.

7 December 2021 Kingsbury Water Park
Walkies first thing to Kingsbury village through the water park its very easy to get lost here lots of footpaths but managed to escape the jaws of death by these 2 see below
There is a lovely little train runs through the park with a couple of stations at the station below I contemplated death by train but alas they were not running.
Drive down to Cheltenham very difficult due to high winds and heavy rain. On arrival a bit of shopping and some campsite booking for England.
6 December 2021 Kingsbury Water Park
Walk into Southport for a Starbuck Coffee got wet returning to campsite. Another long wet drive with lots of speed restrictions on M6 (40 mph) for about 20 miles Ugh! Again.
Got to campsite about 1400 lunch, shower then walkies along the canal towpath (FAB) had a good chat with a fisherman. Sun came out for both walks.
5 December 2021 Southport
After 5 weeks away from camping we are now back on the road again and heading south a 3 hour journey down the M6 Ugh!. We have had a lovely afternoon walkabout in Southport and spotted a very large Ginger Bread Woman see image.
The Christmas lights and market are on and a large Lumiere display in the park a bit noisy though but finished at 2030. Managed to get some new clothes at M&S. Had a really good day and its good to be doing things and seeing new sights again.
