Tried a different cycle rout this morning but yet again too difficult for our bikes and to technical The Spey way is definitely a walking / mountain bike route. So we decided to go and have a lovely coffee again in Nethy Bridge as it is a good cycle. The below picture is of our evening walk looking over the Cairngorms towards Aviemore.
The next picture is the distance along the length of painted stones 2 inch apart from me to Maureen.
Up early for a cycle on The Spey Way cycle route a good start through the woods with lots of painted stone lining the path some up the trees there must have been a few hundred.
Back on the cycle rout we found the going technical lots of gates stones and as a last resort mud so we turned and cycled down the road to Nethy Bridge for a coffee a very enjoyable cycle out for 3 Hours walk into town then a late evening walk.
A last walk to Dunnottar Castle and a few walkabouts as we leave in the morning for Granton on Spey.
