Walk this morning up The Mendip Way to the top of Cheddar Gorge where we got caught in a rainstorm (BIG time) so wet ugh.
Managed to get down safely. Managed to see the goats but they had the best sheltered spots under the trees SOB SOB! came back down the 274 steps on The Jacobs Ladder again.
Must try to go up them tomorrow. Had another good walk this evening now all our clothes are dry.
Really wet day just managed a couple of walks between showers. Below is an Antique Butchers cauldron wood fired for cleaning hair of pig skin and rendering fat.

2 cycles into Poole today different ways allowing us to see more. Walkabout in the evening and managed to come across a wonderful horse shoe wall at the bottom of a Garden WOW how many of these do you see in a lifetime?
15th Weather a bit dodgy this morning so waited awhile then decided to cycle into Bournmouth got caught in a couple of showers and had to spend a bit of time washing the bikes when we got back and now the sun is shining lovely. Another great day
Rain again for the journey today so a dirty van again! had a walkabout and saw some wonderful school artwork made from old milk bottles also on site changes glamping pods and shepherds huts to open next week they look good some images will go BIG if you click on them.
Bad drive down due to rain, double speed wipers on the motorway 50mph and saw the worst caravan driver ever 70mph caravan rocking about overloaded and leaning. An easy afternoon.
Cycle into Chippenham for a walkabout and a coffee then back to the site for lunch then washed the van. Cycle up to the supermarket for some food then back to the site then out for a 40 min. run tea then an hour walk round the village a good day out.
Rain on the 8th so we only managed a walk up to the Farm shop for some tea, yummy chicken curry. The picture above was taken in Buxton and I forgot to put it up on the web I do like skeletons I have one but no body!! has seen it yet. Below is something we have had to buy as one campsite in Scotland that we are going to insists on campers using.
Had a good cycle this morning 9th into Shrewsbury and beyond to some new places also had another cycle in the Afternoon to Bicton then Shrewsbury again.
There are some stunning buildings here I did find these interesting doors on one while stood drinking our Costa Coffee
We have now had 2 cycles to Ripley on the first occasion we had a look around the Gin brewery a very interesting place lots to see. The second time we stopped for a coffee at the Castle really good coffee. The next big cycle was to Wetherby via Follifoot and Spofforth on route 67.Had a run round the woods near the showground and had a couple of Costa coffee with friends. Next a big walk with friends 3 Hours.

Walk into town twice walks up to Solomons Tower and a good run about near the site. Lots of Hail and snow but also lots of sunshine.
7 May 2021 Shrewsbury
A difficult drive down must have passed 300 speed cameras ? A bit of shopping then a cycle into Shrewsbury weather has been lovely today.
