7 – 8 December 2019 Geraudot Rives du Lac / Tournon sur Rhone

Early start from Folkestone for the tunnel got there early so got an earlier train. Arrived at Geraudot about 1500 after a long drive. Difficult booking in staff ??? if this site deteriorates further there will be a big hole in the ground !!!!! Walked down to see the “No Lac” see image below.

Next day we drove down to Beaune a 2 Hour drive but on reaching the site it was just as bad as last time no body about and no one on site(camping cars) so we gave it a miss and carried on to Tournon sur Rhone another 3 hours. The highlight of the day we saw 2 Wild Boar running across a field FAB. No sign of strikes or petrol shortage yet. Booked in had tea then went for a walk and came across a lantern parade. But returned to site due to rain at least its warm this year 12 C.
