Slow drive up avoiding the M4 M5 route. Got here at lunchtime just in time to go down to see The Tall Ships but decided not to bother as we have seen bigger ships than was here it was mainly a fun fair and a lot of stalls. We went for a Costa in Next Store at the Keys fabulous Cheese Cake the best ever.

25 May 2019 Chippenham
Bikes out this morning to cycle up to Tiddleywink (yes honestly). Then bus into town to watch the cloggies.
Below is a sign that all campsites should display it would make it so the staff think we are helping rather than telling them they are not doing there jobs properly.
This is the second site we have been on that has a Cat1 dog on Rottweiler! again.
A short drive up to Chippenham small Adult only site a 10 min. bus journey if you can get one. We stood waiting for 30 mins. for a bus that only comes once an hour and it Blobed. So we went back for a shower then caught another. Chippenham not bad for our first walkabout we will cycle in tomorrow.
The shower block has lovely pictures on the walls see below (click for larger view)
For those of you that have not seen a Policeman for a while below is a picture of one growing? or hiding!
Great Cycle this morning up to Amesbury route 45 the little hamlets along the road are the place to live if you really have money some great house names (The roundabout) (cabbage Cottage) (clock tower cottage) FAB. Stopped at a wonderful Bakery in Amesbury called Reeve Bakery wonderful cakes and coffee. In to Salisbury after lunch for a walkabout.
Just been across to The Circus Zyair this evening what fun.
Last day at Cheddar, a slight rain in the air so a walk up to Costa Coffee I have had 3 Coffee’s here and everyone tasted different so we will try a small independent tomorrow before we leave. One peculiar thing that happened at this campsite that we have never seen before in 11 years of travel was people that had arrived early by one hour not a good idea at this site. A car and caravan arrived followed by a small VW T5 size van that the warden sent away after he left he booked the car and caravan in???? and a few others that arrived before 1300 the van arrived back at 1315 poor chap if only he knew.!!!
A great Picture
18 May 2019 Salisbury.
Leaving day so a walk up into town had a lovely coffee at Cheddar Gorge coffee shop .
A good journey as far as the roundabout near Stonehenge then Boom wall to wall cars. Arrived at about 1330 then went into Salisbury for cake and coffee. Then back to do some washing. I wish the camping and Caravan club would wash the toilet block mops somewhere else other than in the site washing machine its filthy when they have finished. Asked wardens about bus times to Salisbury due to a slow and bad internet connection and he did not know???
This Campsite has the worst Internet in Europe someone should tell the Camping and Caravanning Club that FREE anything never works? Most people have 2 possibly 3 devices per caravan? Motorhome so on a site with 100 pitches 200 + will drag the Bps down to maybe 5Bps so no internet for anyone!!!!
Had a late evening walk up to The Sarum.
A proper Camping Car Below
19 May 2019 Salisbury.

Next day out with the bikes again for a cycle up The Strawberry Line to Yatton where we stopped for a coffee and cake on the railway platform. Cycling for 3 Hours total another great cycle route. Route 26.
Below is an Photo we took in Plymouth of what I thought was a pretty street but on looking at it closer I thought double yellow lines NO PARKING (WHAT!) How would you get a car down there. This is one of the silly things that people do ?
