17 – 23 January 2019 Calpe Mar, Calpe

Enjoying ourselves here in Calpe. Maureen getting back into running and both of us doing lots of cycling and walking. On one good cycle to Moraira had a lovely coffee at a restaurant on the front. It was lovely and hot (very unusual in Spain) and it was served with a little glass of tia maria and cream on the side. After Maureen tasted hers she also stole Darian’s. Yummy! Managed to get back to Calpe without being arrested or falling of her bike.

Met up with Patsy and Paul on Tuesday and had a lovely lunch at el Escorial (translated to English means The Slag Heap) but the food was excellent. Maureen tried the Pig’s Cheek which was delicious.

Picture above “how to get a round peg into a square hole” i.e. pay for a small pitch and put a large motorhome on it to save money, then take the wire off above to allow your sat dish to work, then let your dog shit on the pitch next to you (us), then get your motor scooter out and cut the ropes holiday the shrubs up, then drive it down the footpath. Gilets!!!!
