Friday 13th October – Hawes

Weather not too good today so drove over to Ingleton to get some petrol and have coffee at The Harvester.

Back at site went for a walk but could not get through to Hardraw to see the falls due to the road being flooded again. Watched a large lorry drive through the flood – impressive – nearly drowned by the tsunami. One photographer got wet feet.

The second vehicle through, a Jaguar, didn’t make it. Very silly to try!
